Supports Programs that Help Newport County Youths Realize a Positive Future
People’s Credit Union has donated $500 to FabNewport and their efforts to connect Newport County youth with the opportunities, resources, and relationships they need to thrive. Calyko Zeigler, a graduate of People’s Credit Union mentor program and FabNewport Learner, recently presented a check to Steve Heath, Executive Director of FabNewport, and other Fab Learners, Samanth Logler, Riley Murphy, and Danny Murphy.
“FabNewport does a wonderful job setting students up to explore different pathways to success,” said Courtney Hunter, Head of Community Development at People’s Credit Union. “Building an ecosystem of learning with initiatives like STEAM, Community Engagement, and Career Pathways are helping their Learners make a positive impact not only on our community today, but also on their own futures.”
