People’s Credit Union will never email you to verify or update sensitive information such as account numbers, PIN, user names, passwords, or social security numbers. If you ever receive a suspicious email asking for your People’s Credit Union account information, do not reply and do not click on any links. Immediately notify People’s Credit Union by calling our Member Service Center at 1.800.498.8930.

An individual’s personal information is an incredibly important asset to protect. If you suspect that someone may be using your personal information to open accounts, file taxes, or make purchases, please visit www.identitytheft.gov to report that you believe you are a victim of identity theft. Once you have made your report, you can create a personal recovery plan and put that plan into action.
