Remembering David Faucher, Former Board Member At People’s

People’s Credit Union would like to pay tribute to David P. Faucher, a former board member, who passed away in early February. Dave was a member of the Supervisory Committee for three years and a Board Member for 18 years, serving both as Chair and Vice Chair. Dave’s contributions to People’s Credit Union have been ongoing and significant.

Christopher Ottiano, MD, current Board Chair, stated, “I had the pleasure of serving with Dave on People’s Board for nine years. He was a consummate professional who brought his diverse experience and strong values to help steer People’s to help our members, employees, and the community. We hope Dave’s family finds solace in all the people he helped.”

Dave graduated from the United States Naval Academy (Class of 1970), earning National Defense Service Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, and Navy Commendation Medal, among many others. He was also an officer in the New England Government Financial Officers Association and treasurer for the Portsmouth Historical Society.

“We were inspired by Dave’s service to his family, country, and community. He was a positive force on the Board, and the People’s team will keep his family in our thoughts during this difficult time,” commented Sean Daly, President & CEO of People’s Credit Union.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.
