On December 3rd, People’s Credit Union employees held a wreath-making event to support Lucy’s Hearth’s Designer Wreath Sale. Workshops were held at the Middletown branch with over fifty volunteers participating.
“Lucy’s Hearth supports families in need all year long, and our employees were delighted to jump in with their creativity for this fundraiser,” stated Courtney Hunter, Head of Community Development for People’s Credit Union. “We all share the same hope to make the holidays a little brighter for everyone in our community. Helping Lucy’s Hearth with this important event is just one meaningful way we can do that.”
The Lucy’s Hearth Designer Wreath Sale will be Saturday, December 6th, 9:00 A.M. – 12 P.M. at the Easton’s Beach Rotunda, 175 Memorial Blvd., Newport. All proceeds will directly benefit the programs and services of Lucy’s Hearth, Newport County’s shelter for families with children.
